I put MFE 3.00.050 onthe E71, now has a more comprehensive mail folder with inbox, sent items not synced, junk and sync issues folders. Synching is slower and more MB thirsty, it seems to download the last 160 emails from scratch each sync. The only error is the active notification on the home screen has to be reset after each sync?????

I just got my E71 phone and I had a bit of trouble with the email settings. I downloaded the applications you suggested and it works fine now. Thanks!

As a conclusioun: After numerous emails and phone calls, even Nokia gave up on me with mfe 2.09 The program fails to maintain a steady connection and after a restart, the settings screen won't open.

Still looking for mfe 2.07.22. That was the latest stable version I've used.

Google only allows you to sync your contacts and calendar, not email with
MFE.

I am using M4E for my company email (MS Exchange). Recently I found out that now M4E also supports Gmail. My question is: Can I configure M4E to synch with both Exchange and Gmail mail accounts??

Hi guys! I'm on 200.21.118 FW and with MfE 2.9, I also hat the problem "unable to connect, retryin". I had to revert back to MfE 2.7, which works fine so far. Hope nokia will fix it soon.

hi all. i used to hv MFE installed on my phone and worked really well for my corporate email. I have now changed company and so I deleted all the email server setting for the previous company. But I have this nagging problem where the phone lock setting (which the previous company email server forced to be on) can't be turned off.

I've uninstalled MFE, did a soft reset and still no luck. The phone lock setting to select OFF is grey out and I'm stuck with the default 15mins.

Can someone help me with this? I really want to switch off the phone lock.

I have an E71 (RM-357) with firmware 200.21.118, and running MFE 2.9 I am finding a huge battery drain when continuously connected. Over the weekend, with no connection to the Exchange server, battery life was normal. This morning, the battery went from full to 1 bar after on 3 hours of being connected to the Exchange server.... and the device is very hot. I've been having this behaviour for almost a week since installing the new MfE. Going to re-install 2.7

I have an E-71-2 with the latest firmware. I am running MFE 2.9.158. It runs well for a day or 2 and then it will randomly stop syncing email saying I have no user profile created. When I try to recreate my user file I find that I can’t even access the main MFE screen. Sometimes taking the battery out and rebooting helps. Other times (most other times) I must simply redownload MFE. I should also say that this was starting to happen with MFE 2.7 also just after I updated the firmware.

Any help would be extremely appreciated. This is really frustrating.

I have a problem with this MfE new version, when I tried to sync then suddenly it hang, I really need MfE version 2.7 coz, it work's fine on my Nokia, but I can't fine the source.. may be anyone can share to me..

nokia messaging makes online yahoo fail. i had to uninstall. worked OK on my phone, but my online yahoo had all kinds of problems.

Out of interest, those who haven't had problems with 2.9, are you on the latest 210. firmware?? Nokia suggested there might be an incompatibility between the two. I'd certainly updated the firmware before MfE so E71 was on both most recent versions...

Same here, had nothing but problems with 2.9, kept saying 'cannot connect, retrying' after about 30 minutes of push email. Nokia themselves advised to go back to version 2.7 which they emailed out to me!

I have used M4E for a few years now. Normally it works great but I installed this new version last week and it will not keep my profile. It works fine until I power off the phone. When I turn it back on I have no Mail for Exchange profile and I have to start over. I uninstalled it and went back to version 2.7, that still works fine.
