Dear All, can anyone help me? I am a new E71 user, I tried several time to download the google mobile application. it seems that my phone downloads the application, but then refuses to install it for some "certificate" problem. Than in advance for your help

I like and use often gmail mobile app in E71 but i have a problem. It doesnt notify me when new mail arrives even though i check this option. Do u get notify?

Mike, sorry to bother you again but some further concerns just popped up in my mind.

When I was using Gmail client on blackberry, the font size of the interface is small(I like it to be small) which makes the resolution of the screen looks pretty high, and I can have up to 20 words each line when reading/writing gmail, which was amazing!

Any idea how does it look like on E71 ? Would the font size become stupidly big ?

One question:- When I used Gmail Client on my Blackberry the app pulls(which is almost like 'push') email almost in real time(2 or 3 minutes' delay is definitely acceptable). Will I have this 'auto-pull' feature if I install Gmail Client on E71 ?

Hi Mike. Thanks for the heads up. I love this Gmail application. I'm using this on my E71 right now. I love this application because accessing my Gmail account became so handy for me. But why is it that I can't view my contacts?

Ever since I got the Nokia Email application to work on my E71 and using it to retrieve my Gmail, I stopped using all other applications, including the Gmail apps and the internal email client of the E71. Currently the Nokia Email is still free, so I suggest you go check it out. It's a really cool application and can be used to retrieve multiples of email accounts.

I liked it till it showed up it's buggy side. If I email a link to someone, the mail reads as unsent and am unable to open that thread again, even after signing out and signing in again. Also it shows wrong number of emails as 'unread' in each of the views or filters.

I have uninstalled it and am going to reinstall to see if the bugs are still there.

How do you download attachments? When I click on the document, it opens it in HTML and doesn't give me the option to download it. Thanks.

this isn't a 3rd party gmail solution, this is made by gmail. i will look into momail though, though it seems they are more 3rd party than this solution. aren't you adding a middleman?

I like it a lot. For some reason I could not say the same thing about Nokia Email ...especially since the data seems to be passing trough Nokia which in this case have a rather vague privacy policy (and then I don`t even want to get started on the one Google has ) . Yet the new version of the gmail app is really much faster

hey but you can configure direct in the E71 your gmail account just like adding a mail account on it, just my opinion, but this app is great!!
